If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: is not allowed to do the very same surgery
in a hospital that he wants to perform for you in an office or clinic,
he may have been judged unqualified by his peers to perform this surgery.
If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: cannot perform every and all cosmetic surgical
procedures available, you might end up with the only procedure he knows,
rather than the one that fits you best.
If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: claims expertise by saying this is the only procedure
he does, this may signal a partially trained surgeon, who cannot perform other alternative procedures which might give you a better result.
If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: claims he comes to the area once or twice
weekly, this usually means he is not busy enough at his other location and must travel to perform enough Cosmetic Surgery.
If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: states he is a Board Certified Cosmetic
Surgeon, you should know that neither the American Board of Medical
Specialties, nor the State of California recognizes or awards
board certification in cosmetic surgery.
If
the cosmetic surgery doctor: is not a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, you won't have the assurance that the doctor was fully trained
in all aspects of cosmetic surgery.
Don't be tricked into selecting an Institute or a Surgical Center, rather than actual Plastic Surgeon. You will probably get an inexperienced surgeon, who is paid to perform surgery by the Institute.
